Another successful year of chopping corn silage is in the pit:
There were numerous grizzly bears spotted in the corn field this year and as in years past, they did a considerable amount of damage to the crop:

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that the last post on this site was 2005. I know. Where has the time gone?
Well, here’s a little pictorial update.
The dairy farm is still going strong. We had a set of twins born this year that didn’t exactly match.
Walt, the patriarch of the family dairy, still helps out as much as he can.
We are still chopping corn silage to feed the cows through the long Montana winters.
And we still have grizzly bears that frequent the dairy.
We LOVE to have visitors and give a very laid-back tour of the dairy. Please drop us a line if you are in Western Montana. Unfortunately, we can’t promise that you will see the bears… 🙂
